SMS COMMUNICATIONS AND MOBILE INFORMATION
This section describes how Crawl Space Door Systems collects, uses, shares, and protects mobile telephone numbers and information related to our SMS messaging program.
How You Opt In. You may provide your mobile telephone number to Crawl Space Door Systems at checkout on our Website by entering your number and affirmatively checking a clearly disclosed consent checkbox, or through another opt-in mechanism we may provide from time to time (such as a web form, a written request, or by texting a keyword to our number). The consent checkbox is unchecked by default and requires an affirmative act by you to opt in. Providing your mobile number alone, without checking the consent box or otherwise affirmatively opting in, does not constitute consent to receive SMS messages.
What Messages You May Receive. By opting in, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Crawl Space Door Systems and its messaging service providers. The categories of SMS messages you may receive include: order confirmations and updates; shipping and delivery notifications; customer service responses and follow-up; quote, sizing, and installation coordination; warranty registration and product support; and occasional promotional offers, sales, and product announcements.
Consent Is Not a Condition of Purchase. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of any purchase from Crawl Space Door Systems. Message frequency varies based on your activity and our messaging program. Message and data rates may apply per your mobile carrier plan and service agreement. Crawl Space Door Systems does not charge for SMS messages but is not responsible for any charges your wireless carrier may impose.
How You Opt Out. You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages unless you re-subscribe. Carrier Liability. Crawl Space Door Systems and its messaging service providers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Wireless carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular, and MetroPCS, are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How We Protect Your Mobile Information. No mobile information, including your mobile telephone number, SMS opt-in status, or SMS consent data, will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing in connection with our SMS program is limited to subcontractors and service providers that directly support the delivery of SMS messages (such as our SMS platform provider, our telecommunications carrier, and customer service vendors), and these parties are prohibited from using your mobile information for any purpose other than delivering the services you have requested. The categories of information sharing described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy do not apply to mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in status, or SMS consent data, which are governed solely by this section.
Data Retention. We retain your mobile telephone number and SMS consent information for as long as you remain opted in to our SMS program, and for a reasonable period thereafter to document compliance with applicable laws and our internal record-keeping obligations. If you opt out, we will retain a record of your opt-out request as required by law and to honor your preference going forward.
DATA ANALYTICS AND ADVERTISING
Analytics. We use third-party analytics services, including Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, to understand how visitors use the Website, measure performance, and improve our Services. Google Analytics features, including Google Signals, may collect engagement information across the devices you use to access the Services where you have enabled personalized advertising in your Google account. Advertising. With your consent, the Services use advertising technologies from partners such as Google and Meta, and our email and messaging platform Klaviyo, that use cookies and similar technologies to deliver and measure advertising on the Services and on other sites and apps you use. We do not control these tools or whether a given company participates. If you opt out, you will still see advertising, but it will not be tailored to you based on your activity over time.
LIVE CHAT AND COMMUNICATIONS
We offer live chat and customer-support messaging through a third-party provider, Gorgias, and we may use other communication tools. When you contact us through chat, email, web form, or phone, your communications may be monitored, recorded, and stored, and they are processed by our service providers on our behalf, in order to respond to you, provide support, train our team, and improve our Services. By using these channels, you consent to this monitoring, recording, and processing. Please do not submit sensitive information such as full payment card numbers through live chat.
HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
We may share your information as described below. The categories of sharing in this section do not apply to mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in status, or SMS consent data, which are governed solely by the "SMS Communications and Mobile Information" section above, and no mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Service Providers. We share information with service providers who perform services for us, including payment processing, fulfillment and shipping, billing, marketing and advertising, analytics, customer service, data storage, IT and security, fraud prevention, and legal and auditing services. They are permitted to use the information only to provide services to us.
Advertising Partners. As described above and subject to your consent and opt-out choices, we may share certain information with advertising partners to deliver and measure advertising.
Legal Compliance and Protection. We may access, retain, and disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, a subpoena, or court order, to enforce our Terms of Service or this Privacy Policy, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

DATA RETENTION
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain your account, comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. Retention of mobile and SMS information is described in the SMS Communications and Mobile Information section above.
DATA SECURITY
We implement reasonable and appropriate security measures consistent with prevailing industry standards to protect personal information from unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information you transmit to or store with us.
THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND CONTENT
Our Website and emails may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites. Links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.
SUBMITTING INFORMATION FROM OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES
We control and operate the Services from within the United States, and the Website is directed primarily to users in the United States. We do not target the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, and we do not ship to those regions. Information collected through the Services may be stored and processed in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative. The English-language version of this Privacy Policy is the controlling version.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Our Website and Services are intended for users over the age of 18 and are not directed to children. Consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13, and we do not intend to collect it from anyone under 18.
